We understand that all people have views and opinions on various issues or topics, and we would like to share what we believe with you. Depending on your views on American Politics or the Christian Religion, we believe that both have strayed from their foundations and are experimenting outside of that realm which to us is a problem.

The world has seen countless countries and empires come and go over the millennia, however one nation, the United States, went from a fledgling agricultural colony and in less than 165 years to become a world super power, and then twenty eight years after that placed a man on the surface of the moon. That did not happen by accident, but only under the divine guidance of God.

It is our belief that the United States of America from it’s inception and initial colonization, was dedicated to the service of Almighty God. The Mayflower Compact which is considered to be the first governing document in the Americas begins with the words “IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN!” Then continues on dedicating the territory to “further the Kingdom of God.” That guiding principle went on and helped the Founding Fathers fight for independence from Great Britain, and then establish a government based upon Judeo/Christian principles found in the Holy Bible. The concept of the “separation of powers” is one found in the Bible where it states that a King cannot be a Priest, and a Priest cannot be a King.

That causes some conflict with those who do not believe in the existence of God, which is sad for them and we pity them, when we claim that the United States is a “Christian” nation. God recently revealed to me WHY this happens and I hope to share it with all of you now.

When someone states that America is a “Christian” nation, these Atheists see red and take it to an extreme that is not factual nor justified. They believe that the term implied a “theocracy” and that is where the flaw in their thinking exists.

The truth be told, the United States of America was not founded upon the Christian religion, or any Christian denomination per se, but upon Christian morals, values, virtues, ideals and principles, etc . . . No one wants to see religious leaders ruling over the United States and that will not happen because of the separation we mentioned above. The task of ruling over the citizens of the United States is left up to politicians that we believe God places in authority to rule over us.

The First Amendment in the US Constitution is often misunderstood and misinterpreted. The “Godless” believe that it places a wall between the State and the Church. There is a wall there, but it is a one way wall. The Amendment reads “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Lets’ disassemble and address the specifics to State/Church issues in the Amendment.
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion,” such as the Church of England for example where the people are compelled to follow that one specific denomination, and the church receives tax funds in order to keep operating.
“or prohibiting the free exercise thereof” meaning that they cannot tell you what to believe. Without the bedrock of Christianity at its foundation, the United States
would be just like every other country in the world, and we would be very intolerant of other faiths or non-faiths. Christianity allow you to make up your own mind, and we have carried that over to what we do, for we believe that it is our duty to tell you about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but accepting or rejecting that is your decision.

This land was blessed in the past because of our mutual national respect and reverence to God, whether some believed in Him or not. This fact alone explains why this nation has accomplished so much in such a short amount of time and why we are truly a very unique people in human history. Time after time this nation has shared it's treasure with the less fortunate, defended others from tyrannies and will offer help in time of need or disaster even to it's enemies. It is the Christian faith that makes that possible and the benevolence of the American people.

The mother of Alexander Hamilton asked him why there was no mention of God in the Constitution, and regardless of what ever quote you may find to counter this assertion, the fact remains that he replied to her “because we forgot.” We state with certainty that God was “forgotten” simply because He was a given! The Founding Fathers never envisioned a nation that was not respectful toward God. Some will argue that many of them were Deists, but that claim counters the fact that most of the representatives could not be sent to the Continental Congress unless they were Christians and believed in the divinity of Jesus Christ as their savior.

Most of our patriotic songs give thanks to God but some say this is not so and are doing the utmost to take God away from this beloved land in school and in the public square. If they don’t believe God exists, why do they harbor such hatred towards this “imaginary being?”

Those who may disagree with these facts are ignorant of their own history or are in complete denial of facts. They are loud and the squeaky wheel gets the grease but what they don't realize is that the Christian influence in this country is greater then they are and that although many remain silent, the time will come when they will make their voices heard -- and those in power shall hear that voice.

A number of years ago, the government of Brazil ordered a study of world currencies to see what makes some worth more than others. They took an American One Dollar bill and looked at it, comparing it to every currency in use.

What is it about this money that makes it so powerful? They came to one conclusion because there was only ONE significant difference between the "greenback" and all other money. That difference was the words 'IN GOD WE TRUST."

I have often mentioned on these pages that the United States is a Christian nation much to the chagrin of some who believe that I am doing nothing less than expositing pure shenanigans, chicanery, hi jinx and tom foolery. Nothing could be further from the truth. Below is an interesting tale of how one American serviceman took a passage in the Bible and found something unknown before that helped propel the United States toward a global military power. Does God really exist? Is the Bible truly the infallible “word of God.” YOU be the judge.

How does one explain Matthew Fontaine Maury (January 14, 1806 – February 1, 1873), who was a US Naval officer and using the Bible began looking for the "Paths of the Seas" mentioned in Psalm 8, found and charted them giving the young US Navy a critical and tactical advantage?

Maury joined the Navy as a midshipman on board the frigate Brandywine which was carrying the Marquis de La Fayette home to France. Almost immediately, Maury began to study the seas and record methods of navigation. One of the experiences that piqued this interest was when he circumnavigated the globe on the USS Vincennes, the first US warship to travel around the world.

After an accident, he devoted his time to the study of naval meteorology, navigation, charting the winds and currents, seeking the "Paths of the Seas" mentioned in Psalms 8:8 "The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas." Maury had known of the Psalms of David since childhood. Matthew's father was very exact in the religious training of his family and he was known to assemble them night and morning to read the Psalter for the day, verse and verse about. Because of this, he came to know the Psalms of David, later in life he was known to cite a quotation, and give chapter and verse, as if he had the Bible open before him.

During his naval career, he did indeed chart “the paths of the seas” which we know commonly as the “currents.” His hard work and love of plotting the oceans paid off when he became the first superintendent of the United States Naval Observatory in 1842, holding that position until his resignation in April 1861. The observatory's primary mission was to care for the United States Navy's marine chronometers, charts, and other navigational equipment. Maury was in fact one of the principle advocates for the founding of a national observatory, and appealed to science enthusiast and U.S. President John Quincy Adams for the creation of what would eventually become the Naval Observatory.

In reading about Maury recently, I am discovering that the references to Psalm 8 is missing from many sources and this is troubling. One has to seriously ask why? Is it just Liberalism run amok, or is someone deliberately attempting to hide the truth from the world?

In the name of God, Amen. We, whose names are underwritten, the loyal subjects of our dread Sovereign Lord King James, by the Grace of God, of Great Britain, France, and Ireland, King, defender of the Faith, etc.
