What you must do to be saved.
When GODSPACT was originally conceived as an idea, we thought of it as a "ministry." As we mulled over the future scope and concepts of our mission, the purpose for the organization, what we stood for, what we hoped to accomplish and how that was to be achieved, we quickly came to the realization that a "ministry" would not be an appropriate or accurate description of the organization.
We then decided not to present the Gospel as a main feature of our Journal (Blog) or web site since there are many more worthy ministries doing that very thing around the world everyday. Our focus was mainly on those who have hatred and disdain of Christianity, and to try to get Christians off of their duffs in order to challenge them.
We do not and will not endorse one Christian denomination over another, as it is our belief that God has shown each one a piece of what He is. What we hope to accomplish is to unite the various denominations of the Christian faith with the common things that serve as the foundation of our faith, according to the mission of Jesus Christ whom we believe to be the Son of God, and the one and only Savior of all mankind.
Jesus instructed us to "GO YE, into all the world..." He didn't say "Come they!" Unfortunately Christians cannot seem to unite on our commonalities, and yet try to convert not only the lost, but one another.
My brothers and sisters in the faith, the time has come for you to cast out these denominational divisions, and focus on the fact that everyday is one day closer to the returning of our Lord, Jesus Christ. What have you done today that makes you worthy to be called a son or daughter of God?
Can you honestly say as the song says "When He calls me, I will answer! I'll be somewhere working for the Lord?"
We do not believe that there is anyone in the world with Internet access that is unable to type the word "GOD" into a search engine and not get any information back, so if you would like to learn more about God, or His Son, Jesus, and what one must do to be saved, we would seriously recommend that you do that.
Since we are a "Christian" organization and that is one of our primary missions, we have decided to bend our decision slightly and to present God's plan for Salvation here. Accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is a personal decision and one which should not be made lightly.
To begin a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, follow the STEPS TO SALVATION as outlined here on the following page.
Yes, God does love you! Regardless of who you are or what you have done.
In ancient or Biblical times, a man named Nicodemus who was a distinguished ruler of the Jews as a member of their "High Court" asked Jesus what it meant to be "Born again." "Does a man once again enter the womb of his mother?" Man has always asked this question and Jesus answered the question. This is how it happens...
- ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF OUR SINS:
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
"God be merciful to me a sinner" (Luke 18:13).
Using the Holy Bible as the Authoritative Word of God, you must recognize that you are a sinner, and that all people are born in sin.
- REPENTANCE OF OUR SINS:
"Except ye repent, ye shall likewise perish" (Luke 13:3).
"Repent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out" (Acts 3:19).
You must see the awfulness of sin and then repent of it. How?
- CONFESS YOUR SINS:
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:19).
"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:10).
Confess your sins not to men, but to directly to God.
- FORSAKE YOUR SINFUL WAYS:
"Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return to the Lord... for he will abundantly pardon" (Isaiah 55:7).
Sorrow for sin is important, but we must have the sincere desire to be done with them once and for all.
- BELEIVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST:
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).
"If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9).
Believe in the finished work of Christ on the cross, and in his resurrection.
- RECIEVE JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOR:
"He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name" (John 1:11-12).
Christ must be received personally into your heart by faith, if the experience of the New Birth is to be yours.
TO RECIEVE JESUS CHRIST INTO YOUR HEART AND RECIEVE
GOD'S PROMISE OF ETERNAL LIFE... Just say a prayer like the one here.
"Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and am worthy of death. But Lord, I believe that you died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sin. I believe that you arose from the dead and that you are alive today.
I ask you to forgive me of all my sins, to purify my thoughts, words and deeds that I may turn from my sins and become more like you.
Now I ask you Jesus to come into my heart and become Lord and Savior of my life. Thank you Lord for answering my prayer and coming into my heart this very moment. Amen!"
Welcome to the Family of God! Remember that you are forgiven, but are not perfect. Everyone makes mistakes, and sometime we stumble and fall. Don't concentrate on the falling. Concentrate on getting back up and trying it again!
