The Bible mandates that we as servants of God
are called to tell the nations which includes their
people and institutions to move toward justice, peace, and compassion for all people.
"We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God."

GODSPACT...
You May Not Agree With Us,
But You Know
That We're Right.
That statements describes what GODSPACT
and THE INTERNET CRUSADER believes best
use to communicate what we are all about in
a neat little nutshell.
Advocacy is defined as “the act or process of advocating or supporting a cause or proposal.”
What is GODSPACT and THE INTERNET CURSADER advocating for? Depends on what the advocacy is attempting to accomplish.
Daniel Berrigan once said that "One cannot level
one's moral lance at every evil in the universe.
There are just too many of them. But you can do something, and the difference between doing something and doing nothing is everything.”
Archbishop Desmund Tutu said that "If you see
injustice and say nothing, you have taken the
side of the oppressor."
Edmund Burke is purported to have said that
“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” This quote has never been validated as his but is perceived to be an interpretation of “When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible
struggle.” For the purposes of our examples,
both of these work.
As an American, one who is named with the brave and the free, and also as a Christian one who is named with the ransomed and whole, I see problems with both the politics and government in the United States today,
and the entire scope of the Christian religion.
Politics and Religion are both straying from their narrow paths and are becoming warped or twisted by men who are flawed in their aims and
goals. God has placed this revelation upon my heart, and I am going to try to be faithful and
use these forums in order to inform or educate others with my opinions. My goal is to cause you to think! To have in some cases an alternative point of view while in other cases to validate what you may believe. I cannot change your mind, view or opinion on anything, but I
can cause you to think for yourself.
I am not claiming to be an expert on the Constitution and other great state papers of the United States of America, nor do I claim to be a great Biblical scholar who knows everything
in the Scriptures inside and out, but I do claim that God has given me a a specific burden to share what I believe is the truth with others.
With this in mind, I believe that I am in a way acting as an Ambassador for Christ which is mandated as mentioned above in the Bible, and also as an Ambassador to the Christian Church.
GODSPACT and THE INTERNET CRUSADER do not really consider our advocacy activities to be a “ministry” but I can see where it may have that implication. As I have indicated earlier, I am both an American and a Christian. I have never claimed to be perfect, as the only perfect human to ever have existed was Jesus Christ. I do not claim to have all of the answers. What I do know is that I strive to reach that level of perfection and that when ever I do happen to fall, I get right back up, dust myself off, and continue the “Good Fight.”
My views and opinions are shaped politically by the Conservative view. I believe that some in politics may be well meaning, but enact policies that are destructive to both the individual and the nation. My views and opinions are in the case of Christianity from the Evangelical perspective, but I do embrace all of the denominations of Christianity equally. I may not however agree with the little knit picking denominational differences between the various sects, but if that offends you or turns you off, please understand that to me, and as should be with you, the Christian Church needs to be united on all of the things that our religion considers important common factors that we hold dear, and that is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, period!
The best example of this I can offer is the staunch differences between the Protestant Christian Church, and the Catholic Church. Each believes that the other is apostate, and that is a lie from the depths of Hell. Satan has always divided men along religious lines, because all religion is flawed and that is mainly because man is flawed, and man created religion. What my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ should worry about is that He is the center of our lives, and not some ritual or practice that we engage in at church. Jesus expects us to have a personal relationship with Him, and not see Him as a distant or far away person. We need to unite as one voice, sending a clear and concise message to our politicians, and to the world.
We must be ONE MESSAGE and ONE VOICE.
2nd Corinthians 5:20
BIBLICAL AUTHORITY TO ADVOCATE
Just because we take our work seriously does not mean that we cannot have a little fun in the process. The two images below while interesting and amusing both depict the need to
fight for what we believe is right. We are not fighting with metal weapons and do not advocate violence against anyone. We fight using logical thinking, and with the Word of God in mind. The Christian should always have "The Full Armor of God" on and be ready.
Ephesians 6:
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of
evil in the heavenly realms.
13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may
be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate
of righteousness in place,
15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this
in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
Looking at the entire “Christian Church” we see that there is a wide range of beliefs and understanding the Word of God. Some denominations adhere to the strictest forms of “legalism” and cast aside “grace” while others believe in a more “liberal” view and have come to find acceptable things that God Himself says through His word are abhorrent. Then there are the many which fall in between the two, each believing that God has given them a special interpretation of Scripture. I think that God has allowed this to happen so that the church as a whole can explore Him more fully, however the church needs to set aside petty differences which to me represent bickering, and focus specifically on the life, teachings and lordship of Jesus Christ. Once the church can get its’ own house in order, then as a strong united force we can act as a single force being the representatives of the Kingdom of God on the Earth.
There are people, groups and forces out there that believe in the non-existence of God and these groups are very vocal which in turn causes those in government to bend to their whims. Christians on the other hand and for the most part believe that it is not right to tell the government what to do, so they sit in church pews praying that someone will come forward to fight for them. Brothers and sisters, YOU are that someone! You can help make a difference where you live, work, or relax. Lift your voice when you see an injustice being done and this will make the biggest difference that we have ever seen. Scripture tells us that government was established by God to rule over the affairs of men, and we believe that all thrones, powers, rulers and authorities were created by and for the purposes of Jesus Christ. Colossians 1:16 says “For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.”
Even though we believe that government or the governing authorities of the world have been instituted or ordained by God as servants to serve the people, we have to understand that we still live in a world which has been corrupted by sin and that governing authorities frequently misuse their power.
Under Jesus' providential rule, our governments are supposed to act as God's servant to man, called to act justly and provide order, retrain the wicked, and be a benefit to those who do right (Romans 13; 1 Peter 2). Governing authorities are to help the weak and destitute (Psalm 82:4) and defend the rights of the poor and needy (Proverbs 31:9), even though I personally believe that the poor and the needy have a responsibility to themselves by striving to become better individuals for the benefit of our entire society.
In recent times however there have been numerous examples of where government often harms the just and provides those who have evil in their hearts with undeserved protection. Jesus told his disciples not to be like the rulers who lord it over or others and act as "tyrants" (Mark 10:42). Revelation 13 is an example of government at its worst. Nations tend to demand total allegiance yet they blatantly become idolatrous and rebellious against the will of God.
God often uses people of faith to confront, challenge and call authorities to act justly and fulfill their intended purpose because governing authorities frequently misuse their power. The Bible has many examples of this including the examples of Esther who risked her life to plead the case of her people before King Ahasuerus (Esther 4-8). The people appealed to Nehemiah, the governor, about unjust economic practices of the ruling class (Nehemiah 5). The apostle Paul spoke to Felix about "justice, self-control and the coming judgment" (Acts 24:24-25).
The Bible contains contrasting images of government. One image highlights government's potential, the other its pitfalls.
In perhaps the most positive biblical statement on governing authorities, the Apostle Paul writes: "By [Christ] all things were created . . . whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him" (Col. 1:16, emphasis added). Paul then describes government as "God's servant for your good," specifically noting its role in promoting justice and preserving order (Rom. 13:1-7). In this view, government is part of God's good creation.
Other biblical references are less flattering. God warned Samuel that human rulers would conscript men and women for military and civilian service, confiscate land for personal gain, tax heavily and grant political favors to their close friends (I Sam. 8:10-20). Jesus told his disciples not to be like the rulers who "lord it over" others and act as "tyrants" (Mark 10:42). Revelation 13 is often cited as an example of government at its worst.
The New Testament describes Jesus as our advocate with God (I John 2:1-2) and the Holy Spirit as "another Advocate to be with you forever" (John 14:16). The Great Commandment proclaims that "the Lord our God is one" and calls us to love God with heart, soul, mind and strength (Mark 12:29-30). The Great Commission challenges us to give witness to Christ's Lordship over all competing claims to our allegiance. This witness to the way and teachings of Christ is to be made to all peoples and nations (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8). The New Testament declares that Christ is head of every ruler and authority (Colossians 2:10). This reality gives followers of Christ a legitimate foundation to address government.
The second half of the Great Commandment says that our love for neighbor must match our concern for our own well-being (Mark 12:31). Jesus defined neighbors as those in need -- even our enemies (Luke 10:25-37; Matthew 5:43-48).
